My Agloco Referral Network Update #1

Wednesday, February 7, 2007

Direct Referrals: 34 ( UP 21% from 28)

Indirect Referrals: 31 ( UP 82% from 17)

Total Referrals: 65 ( UP 44% from 45)

Ranking: 3.92 % of all members

These are some great numbers I can only wish to maintain. Obviously people are signing up at a rapid pace as the release date to the viewbar approaches. These next two days I will begin passing around flyers around RMC's campus, and other various locations. This should provide a initial boost in direct referrals, followed by a subsequent boost in indirect referrals. I should also see a boost in indirect referrals as many of my referrals have created Facebook groups that are gaining popularity.

My Goals:

By next week (2/14):

Double my direct/indirect referrals to 68/62 respectively.

Rank in the top 2.5% of all members.

Estimated number of Facebook Profiles: 10 million
Number of Agloco Groups on Facebook: 78
Average number of Members per group: 57.2
Approx number of people in an Agloco group: 4500
Using the 80/20 estimated users on Facebook who know about Agloco: 22,500
(The above calculation may be a bit low)

But Still, If their are 10 million profiles on Facebook, and less than 1 million people who have heard about Agloco. That leaves over 9 million, that can be easily told about. Want even more evidence?

Facebook is a social network of college age students. Of all demographics which do you think wouldn't mind keeping a little toolbar up for some extra income? College Students!

But guess what, Facebook has recently expanded to include High school students and those not attending college. Bingo. As Facebook grows, there are more potential referrals for Agloco users. How Agloco.com Works?

AGLOCO makes money for its Members in many ways:

Search: Every time you use the Viewbar™ to do an Internet search, AGLOCO earns money from the search engine providers. (For example, Google pays as much as $0.10 on average for each search that is directed to its search engine.)

Advertising: The Viewbar™ itself displays ads that are targeted based upon the websites you’re visiting. When you click on an ad and make a purchase, AGLOCO receives a referral fee, which we pass on to our Members. (Please note: Individual members do not receive any compensation for clicking on ads in the Viewbar™, and the Viewbar™ can detect if someone is clicking ads in a fraudulent manner.)

Transaction commissions: Many major retailers pay commissions when you refer customers who make a purchase. AGLOCO collects that commission and passes it on to our members. (For example, Amazon pays an 8.5% commission to most websites who refer customers, and has cut deals for even larger percentages. The bigger the AGLOCO community, the better commission we can negotiate for our Members.)

Software distribution: Numerous software companies pay websites to encourage the download of new software releases (for example, Adobe’s Flash and Acrobat Reader software), and trial versions of new programs. AGLOCO members not only get access to the latest and coolest software, they get paid for it.

Service distribution: Many online service providers will look to the AGLOCO community as a source of new and active users for their services. (For example, eBay, Skype, and PayPal, among others, all pay fees to people who help them recruit new active users to their services)

Product distribution: When Members agree to use a product, such as cell phones, high-tech gadgets, office supplies, new credit cards or financial services, AGLOCO can collect referral fees. Some companies even offer special rebate and cash-back programs.

Bill Gates comments on Agloco as the next big thing

In a post from John Crow Dot Com, he states that no other then Bill Gates has released a statement saying that he loves the idea of Agloco. He said that if they can meet there July 1st goal of 10 million members, they will be the next big thing that the internet public can look forward to. This should boost the morale of all the Agloco believers and come as a blow to the chest to all the skeptics.
Quote from BlogFeast:
"I don't know about you but when a multi-billionare business man who created and empire tell's people that the Agloco system I've been using is going to be the next big thing makes me extremely happy."
"In addition to the recent bill gates statement, I've also discovered some more very valuable information to back up Agloco's history, some of the founding members of Agloco were actually the founding members of a pre dot-com website that paid out over 100 million dollars in advertising revenue to thier members, this is another huge thing which makes me very happy as a member because I now know this system is for real and I now know that they have a previous successful history in the online business sector."

from http://aglocoblog.blogspot.com/2006/11/agloco-goes-public.html

If so then .

AGLOCO's story is simple

AGLOCO’s story is simple:

Do you realize how valuable you are? Advertisers, search providers and online retailers are paying billions to reach you while you surf. How much of that money are you making? NONE!

AGLOCO thinks you deserve a piece of the action.

AGLOCO collects money from those companies on behalf of its members. (For example, Google currently pays AOL 10 cents for every Google search by an AOL user. And Google still has enough profit to pay $1.6 billion dollars for YouTube, an 18-month old site full of content that YouTube’s users did not get paid for!

AGLOCO will work to get its Members their share of this and more.

AGLOCO is building a new form of online community that they call an Economic Network. They are not only paying Members their fair share, but they’re building a community that will generate the kind of fortune that YouTube made. But instead of that wealth making only a few people rich, the entire community will get its share.

What's the catch? No catch - no spyware, no pop-ups and no spam - membership and software are free and AGLOCO is 100% member owned. Privacy is a core value and AGLOCO never sells or rents member information.
